Amy Tsang, PhD

Amy Tsang holds a PhD in Sociology from Harvard University and a BA in Sociology from Yale. As a mixed-methods social scientist, her research interests have included im/migration, cultural identity, and health inequality. A second-generation American raised in Westchester, she is the current President of Young WACA, which oversees youth-focused programming for Westchester Association for Chinese Americans (WACA). Given her longtime passions for mental health, youth mentorship, and community service, Amy is excited to support S.P.E.A.K.’s efforts in connecting research and socially-impactful practice.
