About: The Educational Guidance and Resource Center offers educational consultation by specialists in education and psychology to Japanese-speaking children and their families in the tri-state area. Our specialists are well-informed about current trends in education and other related matters in both Japan and the U.S. and have access to a wide variety of resources.We provide both telephone counseling and face-to-face counseling services. We provide direct educational and psychological services not only to parents but also to children. Only the face-to-face counseling/consultations are charged. If medical or psychiatric evaluations are warranted, we offer referrals to Japanese or American specialists.
